In 1999 I graduated from the department of architecture of the Delft University of Technology.
My graduation project was a design for an opera house in the centre of the Hague, where currently is the ministry of defense. In the Hague there were plans for an opera house, which were never realised, but they gave me a basis to write a list of requirements. I proposed a combination of functions of commercial offices and theatre building. A square was designed in front of the entrance to the opera bulding, which also solved some urban design issues particular to this location. The offices were projected along the main street (Kalvermarkt).
